Intuitive Watercolor Classes

This adult class is designed for all skill levels, especially for those who love watercolor, yet have found it intimidating.  We will prepare ourselves by tapping into our 'inner genius' through breath work and relaxation techniques and dive right into painting from there. Participants will produce 3-4 paintings or more throughout this series.   To reduce overwhelm, we will be working with a limited palette.

Amalia Yosefa was a featured artist in residence at Edgewood Cottage in Blowing Rock for the 2022 season. She is also a Creative Release Facilitator and coach. An artist most of her life she developed a method using the Japanese Hake Brush inspired by the late artist Ron Ranson.  She will be teaching a very fast and loose style of watercolor painting that produces beautiful results in a short amount of time
